Similarly, in Ayurveda, the doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) interact with organs in ways that reflect imbalances in mental and emotional patterns.

And now, modern research is confirming what these systems have taught for millennia.

The heart’s electromagnetic field, for example, radiates far beyond the body and affects brain function, mood, and intuition (HeartMath Institute).

The gut-brain axis reveals that neurotransmitters like serotonin originate in the intestines, meaning your digestion directly affects your emotional state.

And the vagus nerve, which connects most major organs, is a primary pathway for trauma, safety, and regulation.
